Summer job where teachers experience working in the space industry. Job included inventorying all hazardous chemicals on site at ULA (launch pad, vehicle integration facility, warehouse, etc.), finding each chemical’s material safety data sheet (MSDS) either in ULA’s database or via the internet, and compiling a new database of all chemicals at ULA. Duties also included creating integrated lesson plans for use for my students in the classroom, pertaining to my experience at ULA.
